Govenment Polytechnic College Umaria
This institution was established in year 2009-10 under the “Department of Technical Education”, Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on kacharwar road Near new RTO building , 7 km away from Umaria railway station. This is one of the 21 newly established Polytechnic Colleges in MP. Institute is affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal and offers 3-year Diploma Programme in two branches i.e. Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Students are admitted through Pre Polytechnic Test (PPT) entrance exam conducted by MPPEB followed by online off-campus counselling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh.
